Canal Convergence is an internationally recognized, free, ten-night public art event that takes over the Scottsdale Waterfront each November. This entirely outdoor, immersive event features large-scale, light-based artworks, as well as educational workshops, family-friendly activities, art and history tours, live music and dance performances, a beer and wine garden, food trucks, and more!
There are many different opportunities availible and suited for everyone. Some opportunities include volunteering at the film festival, The One Water Brewing Showcase, The Scottsdale Arts store, or even assisting the public as an Art Docent! Volunteers will perform tasks such as assisting the public, handing out tickets, set-up, and check-in. If you consider yourself a people person and a fan of the arts, we think you would be a perfect fit!

Mission Statement
We enhance lives through the power of the Arts.
Description
Scottsdale Arts presents art as an integral part of the Scottsdale experience, by offering opportunities for residents and visitors to experience the highest quality performing and visual arts the world has to offer, and by identifying emerging artistic talent and providing a place for its expression.
While it may be convenient to think of us as just a theater or a museum, our mission extends far beyond the walls of any single building or specific event. Thanks to our enthusiastic community-and with the support of the City of Scottsdale and our many members, donors, sponsors, volunteers, and friends-we daily embrace the challenges of immersing our whole community in the arts. We present opportunities to both renew our understandings of traditional arts and to invent fresh meanings of unconventional arts.
