ORGANIZATION: Grow the Flow

Help guests at C9 make a meaningful impact by writing letters in support of the Great Salt Lake! As a volunteer, you’ll assist customers by helping them locate their representatives and providing letter-writing prompts to guide their messages. In return, guests will receive a discount on their purchase for taking action to support this vital cause. This is a great opportunity to engage with the community and help protect one of Utah’s most precious natural resources.

Great Salt Lake is collapsing. Failing to reverse its decline will harm our health and home for generations. Grow the Flow is a citizen-led movement that exists for just one reason: replenish the lake we love and depend on.

Description

Grow the Flow is a citizen-led initiative in Utah focused on restoring and preserving the Great Salt Lake. Operating under Conserve Utah Valley, the organization addresses the lake's severe water loss, which threatens local ecosystems and human health. The movement unites scientists, lawmakers, and the publicto advocate for water conservation, create innovative solutions, and support legislation aimed at reversing the lake's decline. By fostering community engagement and collaborating with various stakeholders, Grow the Flow seeks to secure the future of this vital natural resource​.
