Join us for a unique day of education and discussion focused on the Great Salt Lake’s vital brine shrimp industry and water conservation efforts. The event begins with a tour of a brine shrimp processing facility, where participants will learn about this crucial industry and its environmental impact, led by Tim Hawkes, a respected voice in Utah water policy. Following the tour, enjoy lunch and engage in a discussion with prominent leaders, including Rep. Casey Snider and Joel Ferry, Director of the Department of Natural Resources. The day will conclude with reflections on the future of the Great Salt Lake and strategies for its preservation.

The movement unites scientists, lawmakers, and the publicto advocate for water conservation, create innovative solutions, and support legislation aimed at reversing the lake's decline. By fostering community engagement and collaborating with various stakeholders, Grow the Flow seeks to secure the future of this vital natural resource.
