Each year, thousands of riders and hundreds of volunteers come out to make our Bike MS: Valero Ride to the River event a possibility. This year’s event is taking place on October 5TH & 6TH! The event will kick off in San Antonio where the riders will spend Day 1 braving the ride up to New Braunfels. On Day 2, they will undergo an "out-and-back" both starting and finishing in New Braunfels.
We will have a variety of volunteer opportunities at our New Braunfels-area start/finish lines and in the weeks leading up to the event. Responsibilities can include anything from site set-up to serving food to organizing the groups of our riders and shifts can be as short as four hours. This event would be a great outreach opportunity where individuals can gain service hours and welcome people from all over the state to their community all while dramatically helping those who live with MS.

The South Central Region, headquartered in Houston, TX is made up of five states: Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Texas, and New Mexico.
Seeking out and engaging volunteers to join the movement is at the very core of our organization.
We engage volunteers at every level. Join an event committee, volunteer at a walk or bike event, advocate at the capitol, volunteer at our office, no matter how you choose to contribute, you are doing something about MS now!
The Society is looking for passionate volunteers with expertise in areas such as: marketing communications, public relations, corporate and donor development, medical, legal, administrative and organizational expertise.
