The Alaska Jewish Cultural Gala is a Black Tie event, featuring a Live and Silent Auction, incredible cuisine, live music, and so much more. This evening will mark 19 years of celebrating Jewish culture and promoting diversity and tolerance for all Alaskans, and building cultural bridges in the broader Alaskan community. At this year's Gala, we are privileged to join our fellow Alaskans in honoring Julie Kitka, president of the AFN, one of Alaska's most outstanding and dedicated leaders.
The gala will take place this year on Saturday November 9th at the Dena'Ina Convention Center in downtown Anchorage.
We are seeking volunteers to help make our event a huge success. We have a variety of roles available and would love to have you join our team! The roles we are looking to fill are including but not limited to the following:
Set Up (event, silent auction)
Volunteer Check In/ Check Out
Attendee Check In/ Check Out (greeters, registration)
Heads and Tails Sellers/ Revenue Builders
Silent Auction (support, runner, table captain)
Data Entry
Live Auction (model, spotter, recorder, signature, runner)
Load Out (lifting, heavy delivery)
Clean Up

The Lubavitch Jewish Center of Alaska is dedicated to making the richness of Jewish Heritage and Culture a relevant and meaningful experience to every Alaskan regardless of background or affiliation.
We have been servicing the Alaska community for over twenty years through a wide range of programs, activities and events. In appealing to all segments of the community, the Center has followed many paths to enriching Jewish life in Alaska.
In bringing these different ideas together, the Lubavitch Jewish Center has created a deep sense of community and a home away from home for all Alaskans.
