Artist in Residence (125th Graphic Design)

Jewel Cave National Monument is seeking a regionally local (virtual is an option) graphic design artist to create artwork for our 125th Year of Discovery specialty Junior Ranger activity book. The artist will be invited to visit Jewel cave for up to 2 weeks with lodging provided (30hr/week to be eligible for housing) so that they might be familiarized and inspired by the natural resource both below and above ground.
We hope to have designs to send out for production by the end of October 2024, so October availability would be preferable.
To be eligible for housing, volunteer must commit to 30 hours in one week (remote volunteering included) as per federal policy.
