Trash Pickup Event

Event Description: Join a Parkrose Neighborhood Cleanup event on NE Killingsworth behind Parkrose Hardware. This area is a space known for frequent dumping and we are going to help keep this area clean! This event is exclusively for volunteers ages 18+.

Date/Time: Thursday, September 26th from 10 am to noon

Address: 10625 NE Sandy Blvd Portland, OR 97220

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and and dress for the weather. We recommend that you bring your own reusable water bottle to stay hydrated at this event.

What's Provided: SOLVE will provide trash grabbers, trash bags, work gloves, and high-vis vests.

Restrooms: Restrooms are available in Parkrose Hardware

Parking: Parkrose Hardware parking lot. Park in the lot and walk to the back NE section of parking lot

At SOLVE our mission is simple: Bring Oregonians together to improve our environment and build a legacy of stewadship. We do that through facilitating hands-on volunteer opportunities across the state that help to remove litter and restore native habitat through out our natural areas and neighborhoods. The majority SOLVE events are created and led by local volunteer leaders with a stake in the health and strength of the local community. We also offer a wide range of volunteer opportunities from one time participation at a local event, to leadership roles on a local of regional level. We look forward to connecitng with you soon to help care for an outdoor area you love in Oregon!
