Many caregivers are often stressed especially caregivers who work. When it comes time to actual caregiving a large part of caregiving is taken up with doing basic necessities, and not enough time for activities that help seniors with their cognitive functioning.
Senior Companions rngage caregivers and aging-in-place seniors in memory and cognitive activities (like i.e., reminiscing, story sharing, various games, etc.) using hybrid meetings (online & in-person). Senior Companions are supported with select activities and subjects. Senior Companions are not caregivers thus, not repsponsible to provide assistance in helping with the basic neccessity functions a caregiver is tasked to do (like i.e., cleaning, feeding, transportation).
