Lyrics Operator I & II in The Blessed House International Church’s Media Team!

The Lyrics Operator is responsible for displaying lyrics, sermon notes, and other visual elements during services. We use EasyWorship and ProPresenter for this role, which ensures that the congregation can follow along during worship and sermons.

Duties:

• Load songs, lyrics, and sermon notes into EasyWorship or ProPresenter before the service.

• Coordinate with the worship team to ensure the correct lyrics are displayed during worship.

• Operate the software during services, transitioning between slides smoothly.

• Display sermon points, scripture references, and announcements as needed.

• Monitor the service to ensure timing is accurate for displaying lyrics and sermon slides.

• Troubleshoot any technical issues with EasyWorship or ProPresenter during services.

• Adjust slide layouts and designs to make sure they are easy to read and aesthetically pleasing.

• Provide support for special events, ensuring that all multimedia elements are displayed correctly.

• Ensure that lyrics and slides are also visible for livestream audiences.

• Work with the Livestream Operator to coordinate on-screen graphics for online viewers.

No experience? No problem! We provide training for all volunteers, ensuring you're equipped with the skills needed to excel. All volunteers must be members of The Blessed House International Church and will be required to complete a 5-week Spiritual Development Course before being fully integrated into the team.

Commitment & Schedule: Volunteers serving on service days must attend pre-service prayers:

• Saturdays: 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

• Sundays: Setup at 9 AM | Pre-service Prayer: 9:30 AM - 10:00 AM | Main service from 10:30 AM - 2:00 PM

• Wednesdays: Setup at 6 PM | Pre-service Prayer: 6:30 PM - 7:00 PM | Main service from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Additionally, we have several events throughout the year where your help will be greatly needed.

Requirements:

1. Personal Relationship with Christ: Volunteers must maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be a consistent witness for Him, showing a Christ-like attitude in dealing with people both within and outside the church.

2. Commitment to Reliability: Volunteers should be dependable and committed to the schedule they agree to.

3. Teamwork and Communication Skills: The ability to work well with others and communicate effectively is essential for the smooth running of our media team.

4. Open to Feedback: Volunteers should be willing to receive constructive feedback to continuously improve their performance.

5. Attention to Detail: Especially important for roles like livestream production, lyric display, and audio mixing.

6. Physical Requirements: Some roles may require lifting equipment, moving cameras, or standing for extended periods.

7. Willingness to Learn: Volunteers should be eager to learn new technologies and techniques, as training is provided.

8. Spiritual Maturity: Volunteers should demonstrate a growing spiritual life, as they will represent the church and its mission.

Volunteers will receive training and support, ensuring that you feel equipped to succeed in your role while growing spiritually and professionally.
