Join NYC Parks and the Forest Park Trust for young tree care at the Forest Park Picnic Area! Volunteers will learn basic tree maintenance while watering and weeding newly-planted trees in our picnic area. Registration is required. Please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes.

Since its inception, The Forest Park Trust, Inc. has set into motion major capital improvement plans. organized and produced events to serve the cultural and recreational needs of the community, instituted annual fundraising events, established a large volunteer contingency, and brought the park back to the community.
