Each October during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, YWCA Dayton hosts the Voices Against Violence Breakfast/Luncheon, one of our signature fundraisers. It raises awareness of domestic violence as a critical community issue while raising funds for YW’s shelter and professional support services. Volunteers are needed to help us greet and check in guests as they arrive, and help set out programs, materials, and favors.
This will be held downtown at the Sinclair Conference Center in Building 12.
We will need 3 greeters and 1 person for registration and coat check. Volunteers should wear black slacks and a white blouse or shirt and comfortable shoes. The space can be chilly, so a black jacket or sweater might also be appropriate.
