Since 2017, Street Samaritans has been working out of a storage unit, but thanks to an exciting new partnership with Phoenix Foundation, we’re moving into our first office and programming space! This is a major milestone for us, and we need your help to make it happen.
We’re seeking enthusiastic volunteers to assist with moving donated items and supplies from our storage unit to our new office space. Your support will help us create a welcoming environment where we can better serve our clients and expand our impact in the community.
What You’ll Do:
- Help load and unload boxes, furniture, and other items
- Organize donations and office supplies in the new space
- Be part of a fun, team-based project that directly supports Street Samaritans' mission
Details:
- Date: October 5th
- Time: 10 AM to 2 PM
- Location: Meet at the storage unit at 1500 S Blue Island Avenue!
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs preferred but not required
By lending a hand, you’ll be playing a crucial role in the next chapter of Street Samaritans’ journey. Join us as we create a new space where we can continue to make a difference in the lives of people experiencing homelessness!
Please note that we specifically need people with vehicles to support with transportation. We're thankful for your assistance!
