Miracle Flights has a fun volunteer opportunity coming up at Downtown Summerlin! We will have our booth and ambulance pop-up on the lawn at the PBS Be My Neighbor Day.
Be My Neighbor Day is a free outdoor event that promotes being a caring neighbor. Attendees engage in community-faced acts of kindness and take part in family-friendly activities.

Location: The Lawn at Downtown Summerlin, 1980 Festival Plaza Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89135
Date: 10/5/24
Time: 10am - 2pm (Volunteers should plan to arrive between 9:30 AM and stay until 2:30 PM)
Volunteers needed: 12
Volunteer Duties:
Attire: Wear comfortable clothing, tennis shoes, sunscreen, a hat, and bring a reusable water bottle to refill from the ambulance.
Volunteers will be standing for extended periods, interacting with kids, and may need to lift up to 25 lbs.

Miracle Flights for Kids is a national, 501 (c)(3), medical flight organization that provides FREE commercial airline flights for a sick child and their families to see a specialist or get a second opinion not available in their community.
We will fly a child as far and as many times as needed to get well. Since 1985, we’ve coordinated more than 150,000 free flights to those in need of life-changing medical care. In our 35 year history, we’ve helped families in every corner of the country.
