Hourly Commitment: 5-10 hours monthly
Description:
Join our team at Friends of Lakeshore State Park to help elevate our social media presence and engage with our community! As a Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing our Instagram and Facebook channels, monitoring interactions, and assisting in crafting our monthly newsletters. You'll collaborate with a marketing team member from Visit Milwaukee to design eye-catching graphics that highlight park events and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and update FLSP’s social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook)
- Monitor and respond to social media interactions
- Assist in writing and editing monthly newsletters
- Work with Visit Milwaukee’s marketing team to create engaging graphics
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Passion for nature and community engagement
