We are seeking volunteers to help make our Family STEM Night a success on Wednesday, September 25th, from 5:30 PM to 7:45 PM. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage with families and promote the wonders of science and technology! You will have a brief training on your station before the event.

Available Stations:

  • Slime Making: Assist participants in creating their own slime.
  • Microscope Station: Guide families in exploring the microscopic world.
  • Catapult Activity: Help attendees construct and launch their own catapults.
  • Pizza Distribution: Ensure everyone enjoys a slice while they explore!

Your support will be instrumental in providing a fun and educational experience for our community. If you're passionate about STEM and enjoy working with families, we would love to have you on board!

Description

Public libraries in Idaho seek to engage the talents, skills and commitment of volunteers to serve the communities information and literacy needs. Libraries offer a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to library programs, operations, fundraising events and other community engagement functions. Skilled volunteers have opportunities to lead projects, work with teams of staff and volunteers, learn new skills, and have fun.
