Job Overview:

The HR Manager is responsible for implementing and overseeing day-to-day human resources operations and programs within the organization. This role focuses on tactical execution of HR initiatives, direct support to employees and line managers, and ensuring smooth HR processes across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Policy Implementation:

Execute HR policies and procedures as developed by senior HR leadership

Ensure consistent application of HR practices across departments

Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies

Employee Relations:

Manage and resolve employee relations issues

Conduct investigations into workplace complaints

Mediate conflicts between employees or between employees and management

Promote a positive work environment and company culture

Performance Management:

Administer performance review processes

Coach managers on conducting effective performance evaluations

Assist in developing performance improvement plans

Track and report on performance metrics

Training and Development:

Coordinate and conduct training sessions on HR-related topics

Identify training needs within the organization

Manage the logistics of training programs and workshops

Track employee participation in training initiatives

Recruitment and Onboarding:

Manage the day-to-day recruitment process

Conduct initial screenings and interviews

Coordinate with hiring managers to facilitate the selection process

Oversee the onboarding process for new hires

Compensation and Benefits Administration:

Administer compensation and benefits programs

Respond to employee inquiries about benefits

Assist with annual benefits enrollment process

Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate processing

HRIS and Data Management:

Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS

Generate regular HR reports for management

Ensure data integrity in HR systems

Compliance:

Monitor day-to-day compliance with labor laws and regulations

Maintain required employment documentation

Assist in implementing new compliance measures as directed

Employee Engagement:

Implement employee engagement initiatives

Coordinate employee events and recognition programs

Conduct and analyze employee surveys

HR Operations:

Manage daily HR operations and administrative tasks

Respond to employee inquiries and requests

Maintain HR-related documentation and files

Skills and Qualifications:

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

5-7 years of HR experience, including some supervisory experience

Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment law

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office suite

PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred

Skills:

Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Demonstrated ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management
