ORGANIZATION: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

Position: The volunteers will be assigned duties to supplement the efforts of the project management team. The scope of duties includes, but is not limited to, trail maintenance, trash and litter clean-up, visitor assistance, and monitoring the area.


Lodging: The volunteers must complete 24 hours of volunteer service each week to qualify for an RV site on property. The volunteers must provide their own RV. The site includes electric (50-Amp), water, and sewage hookups. No WiFi or cable utilities.


Area Highlights: Conant Brook Dam is located in central Massachusetts, approximately 10 minutes north of the Connecticut border. Enjoy what the area has to offer:

  • Old Sturbridge Village (15 Miles) - Living history museum focused on mid-1800's New England
  • Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame (19 Miles)
  • Worcester Red Sox at Polar Park (35 Miles)
  • Boston (75 Miles) - Enjoy historic Boston, its many sports teams, and the fantastic New England Aquarium
  • White Mountain Range (220 Miles) - 49 mountain peaks spanning nearly a quarter of New Hampshire, trickling into Maine
