Volunteer for food pantry at Tilden Middle!

William T. Tilden Middle School needs volunteers to support the FAWN (Food and Wellness Network) pantry inside the school. The pantry is run in partnership with Turning Points for Children and offers nutrious food and other resources for students and families.

The pantry is open on Friday's from 10am to 2pm. Set up begins at 9am.

Volunteers help tidy and stock the pantry as well as greet community members.

Volunteers MUST sign up through our portal link below to sign up to volunteer. Clearances and other paperwork are required prior to starting. Applications submitted through VolunteerMatch will not be reviewed as this is just a listing post.

Description

The Office of Children and Families has many upcoming volunteer opportunities. Tasks include supporting grocery giveaways and food pantries at Community Schools, serving as a Philadelphia Reading Coach (Fall 2024), and assisting adult learners through the Adult Education Program.
