We are looking for members of the OCD community (personal or professional experience with OCD) to help us with set up and take down tasks for the OCD Walk October 6, 2024. This is a single-day event volunteer opportunity.
Types of tasks may include:
Set up walk route signs
Set up and distribute t-shirts and giveaways to walk participants
Assist with walk participant sign-in and registration
Set up walk activity stations
Organize and pack up supplies and equipment
Take down walk route signs
Experience/Skills
Provide a positive customer service experience
Follow verbal and written instructions and proceedures
Recognize errors and correct to meet organizational needs
Troubleshoot problems and work to find solutions
Work independently with minimal supervision
Flexibility may be needed ot meet changing day-of-event needs.

As the Washington State affiliate of the International OCD Foundation, OCD Washington is a community of those who suffer from and/or care about individuals with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) committed to insuring that: All know about OCD, its symptoms and the vast number of persons who have it. Individuals with OCD identify, seek and have access to appropriate support and affordable treatment. Researchers have support and seek a cure for OCD. Individuals with OCD will be recognized as valuable members of the community.
