Description

The 3B’s Ministry is a nonprofit that seeks to provide food, clothing and other vital necessities to families and individuals in need in the local community. This ministry is based in Brandon, FL but serves families and individuals in Lithia, Brandon, Valrico, Seffner, Riverview, Wimauma, and Tampa. With recent economic challenges and rising costs of living, food insecurity is becoming a larger problem in our community and the ministry has experienced significant growth in the last two years. The Three B’s Ministry focuses on both homeless individuals and food-insecure families. They provide a well-balanced, delicious, hot meal every Saturday in Ybor City to 200-300 homeless citizens. Every Wednesday, this nonprofit provides fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, dairy products, bread, sweets, drinks, and cleaning products to an average of 140 families. Children’s clothing and toys are also available weekly during the Wednesday distribution. This is all provided free of charge and the organization is run solely on volunteers.
