Position Title: Technology Committee Member - Wordpress manager and onsite IT support
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Excellent organizational skills
- Familiar with updating and maintaining WordPress websites
- Proficient in troubleshooting with IT hardware including laptops
- Must be a registered volunteer with the Library
- Must be a registered Friends of the Library member and volunteer, and able to attend orientations, trainings, and Board and committee meetings as needed.
- Must be in the Tigard area, not a remote position
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the Friends of the Tigard Public Library website
- Complete regular updates per the direction of the Friends' board of directors
- Troubleshoot website, software, and onsite hardware issues
- Provide suggestions and feedback on how to improve the website, and recommendations on technology purchases
