Position Title: Technology Committee Member - Wordpress manager and onsite IT support

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Familiar with updating and maintaining WordPress websites
  • Proficient in troubleshooting with IT hardware including laptops
  • Must be a registered volunteer with the Library
  • Must be a registered Friends of the Library member and volunteer, and able to attend orientations, trainings, and Board and committee meetings as needed.
  • Must be in the Tigard area, not a remote position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the Friends of the Tigard Public Library website
  • Complete regular updates per the direction of the Friends' board of directors
  • Troubleshoot website, software, and onsite hardware issues
  • Provide suggestions and feedback on how to improve the website, and recommendations on technology purchases
