Join Mayor Battle and Green Team at Brahan Spring Park for the annual Mayor’s Tree Planting Day on Saturday, November 2. Tree planting will take place from 9am to noon. Hundreds of trees will be planted to expand the tree canopy this year! Meet at 2213 Drake Avenue SW and follow signs for parking instructions to the east side of the lagoon. We need your help to plant trees. No experience is needed. All ages and groups are welcome. You can drop in any time during the event to plant trees. Seedling trees will be given out to take home to plant, while they last! Volunteers will also be provided with free litter clean up supplies. Please call Green Team at 256-532-5326 for more information.
