Sprouts Chef Training September Culinary Events Volunteer

About: This September 2024, culinary nonprofit Sprouts Chef Training is hosting multiple awareness events in partnership with some of San Francisco’s best restaurants as part of fundraising efforts to equip Bay Area youth to rise from hardship through culinary training and job placement.

Volunteers: Volunteers work alongside top culinary talent and Sprouts’ event team to support the successful execution of events. This is a great opportunity to gain professional experience, while networking with fellow food-lovers, Michelin starred chefs, and community advocates who are passionate about making a difference!

September Event Dates:

You can choose to volunteer at any number of the events listed below based on your availability!

● Friday, Sept. 20: 4-9pm at INSEAD, 224 Townsend Street, SF

● Monday, Sept. 23: 4-9pm at Private Residence in SF

● Friday, Sept. 27: 4-8pm at Private Residence in SF

● Sunday, Sept. 29: 1-9pm at The Jay Hotel, 433 Clay Street, SF

These events range from formal gala dinners to intimate dinner parties and casual cocktail hours. The types of volunteer roles available at each event are detailed below.

● Front of House (FOH) - Checking in guests, coat check, checking out guests, tracking auction bids, processing donations, general set-up and break down, etc.

● Back of House (BOH) - Passing appetizers, serving, pouring drinks, bussing dishes, assisting kitchen staff, etc.

● AV Lead - Lead our AV set up and execution throughout the event. AV Company will give you an orientation on setup and equipment use.
