Do you speak Spanish and want to make a meaningful difference in the life of an older adult? We are seeking compassionate volunteers who are fluent in Spanish to become Visiting Companions for Spanish-speaking older adults in our community.
About the Role:
As a Visiting Companion, you will visit with a Spanish-speaking older adult 1-2 times per month. Your presence can provide much-needed companionship, conversation, and connection in their native language. These visits often take place at the older adult’s home and are an opportunity to build a rewarding relationship while bringing joy and comfort to their lives.
Requirements:
- Fluency in Spanish
- A kind, patient, and empathetic nature
- Willingness to visit 1-2 times per month
- Ability to commit for at least six months

Maybe you’re an older adult or know someone that is? We offer a quick drop-in chat line, phone companionship, and visiting companionship services, something for everyone and all of no-cost to the participant.
