BBBS is holding its 2nd Annual Community Carnival on Saturday, October 5, 1-4pm, at First Lutheran Church in Janesville. With over 300 in attendance last year and over 1000 already interested, this year's event promises to grow by leaps and bounds. And as with all events held by BBBS for families, everything is free of charge.
For the children, we will offer free carnival style games, food, interactive demonstrations and activities, prizes, as well as drawings for larger prizes!
For the caregivers we offer free entertainment for their families, tables with local non-profit resources, and, for the 1st time, we will be publishing a Family Resource Guide for each family to take. The guide will have state, county and local resources listed in one location, ads from local businesses, kid friendly activities, restaurants, discounts, and hopefully coupons.
We are looking for volunteers to help with running carnival games, food, parking and crowd control.
