The Sacramento SPCA is a non-profit animal shelter in the Sacramento Area.
Calling all volunteers! Your help is needed during our annual fundraising Gala, The Totally Pawsome 80s Prom, taking place October 26, 2024 from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm. The event will be held right here on the Sacramento SPCA Campus to show the community and our supporters the great services we provide and the animals we care for on a daily basis.
The theme this year is 80’s Prom and we are busily preparing a fun and entertaining night to celebrate the Sacramento SPCA in style!
In order to orchestrate this type of event, it takes a lot of volunteer and staff support and there are MANY ways you can help make this event be a success.
SET UP (Day of Gala, October 26)
Saturday, October 26: 11:00 am - 5:00 pm
Duties include: setting up tables, chairs and linens, decorations, wine glasses, posting signs and setting-up other needed materials.

Description
Since 1894, we have been working to reduce pet overpopulation through affordable spay/neuter services, promoting the humane treatment of animals through education and outreach, and assisting pet owners through a variety of programs and services designed to keep pets and their families together.
The Sacramento SPCA is a local, independent non-profit relying solely on private donations and grant funding. It does not receive federal, state, or other government funding nor is it an affiliate of any national organization.
