We rely on people like you playing their part to give young people
opportunities to dream big, give it a go, and build skills for life.
We’re looking for people to help out in all sorts of ways in our meeting place and behind the scenes. At the moment, we’d especially love some help with the 14-18 age groups and being a trustee member but if this isn't for you don't worry as there are many more tasks that need doing!
Whether you want to support young people or if you’re more comfortable
planning an adventure from the sidelines, we’ve got a role for you.
Scouts happens when a lot of us give a little. You’re not signing up for a lifelong
commitment - just to help out, when and where you can.
We’re making it easier for people to find out what Scouts is all about by running a four week challenge. It’s a chance to come along and see what we do before making any decisions. We don’t expect you to turn into a leader overnight: the four week challenge is all about getting involved in a way that works for you.
Want to make a difference, but don’t want to work directly with young people? There are loads of opportunities to make an impact behind the scenes. We’ll help you find something that matches your skills (and the time you have available). We’d love for you to get involved in our four step challenge- it’s a chance for you to tell us how you’d like to help, try out ways to get involved, and meet other members of the team before you decide whether to volunteer with Scouts.
