Are you passionate about creating compelling video content and eager to gain hands-on experience in the world of digital media? We invite you to showcase your skills and make an impact by volunteering for 4 months on our exciting new STEM Canada YouTube channel project. As a valued member of our team, you’ll collaborate with talented professionals, contribute to innovative content, and build a portfolio that stands out in the industry. Join us and turn your creativity into captivating stories that will reach audiences around the globe!

Responsibilities:

Edit raw video footage to create compelling and informative videos.

Select appropriate video clips and audio tracks to match the script and storyline.

Add visual effects, transitions, and graphics to enhance video quality.

Color correct and adjust audio levels for optimal sound and image quality.

Collaborate with the production team to ensure video edits align with the channel's vision.

Stay updated on video editing software and industry trends.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).

Strong understanding of video editing techniques and storytelling.

Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Basic knowledge of audio editing and mixing (preferred).
