Do you want to be part of a dynamic international STEM Canada YouTube production team? Are you passionate about creating compelling video content and eager to gain hands-on experience in the world of digital media? We invite you to showcase your skills and make an impact by volunteering for 4 months on our exciting new STEM Canada YouTube channel project. As a valued member of our team, you’ll collaborate with talented professionals, contribute to innovative content, and build a portfolio that stands out in the industry. Join us and turn your creativity into captivating stories that will reach audiences around the globe!

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive YouTube channel strategy aligned with SMAC-SIAC’s mission and goals.
  • Create and manage a content calendar, ensuring a consistent and engaging video release schedule.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to produce high-quality video content, including scriptwriting, video shooting, editing, and post-production.
  • Optimize video content for search engines (SEO) to increase visibility and reach.
  • Build and maintain a strong online community through audience interaction and engagement.
  • Explore and implement new video formats and trends to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Manage collaborations, sponsorships, and partnerships with relevant organizations and influencers.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in social media marketing and community management.
  • Basic understanding of SEO and YouTube analytics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
