Do you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working with your hands? Are you someone who enjoys fixing and restoring items? If so, you might be an excellent fit for the Book Mender position at CTBL! This job is essential to maintaining and preserving the large-print collections at the Colorado Talking Book Library. As a Book Mender, you will repair large-print books and other high-demand library materials. Our patrons are waiting for these popular books; you will immediately make a difference. What a sense of accomplishment! Don't worry if you don't have any prior experience; our staff will provide training and supplies.

Our mission is to serve the blind and disabled readers in Colorado by providing books and magazines in large print, audio, or Braille format
Description
A free service to Coloradans of all ages who are unable to read standard print material due to visual, physical or learning disabilities whether permanent or temporary. CTBL provides audio, Braille and large-print books and magazines. We have served readers in Colorado since 1931as a member of the network libraries in the National Library Service for the Blind - Library of Congress. CTBL received the Colorado Association of Libraries (CAL) Library of the Year Award for 2017. CTBL was named the Library of Congress - National Library Service for the Blind and Disabled Library of the Year.
