Mission Statement

Our mission is to bring awareness to Sudden Cardiac Arrest in youth to help reduce preventable deaths from SCA in youth.

Description

The Kyle J. Taylor Foundation was started in March of 2018 in honor of our son Kyle Taylor, he passed away on February 24, 2018 from Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) at the age of 18. Kyle was always a loving, kind, spirited, adventurous, outgoing, fun, athletic, jokester, life of the party, passionate, charismatic, compassionate young man who is loved by everyone that has had the pleasure of knowing him and we miss him terribly.

Our mission for the foundation is that since Kyle was such a kind person who was always willing to help others, we wanted to continue that spirit by giving back to our community and help in preventing another family losing a loved one to SCA.

Our three main goals for the foundation are to bring awareness to SCA in youth, the steps to prevent it, and how to respond to it.

  • Awareness (Education, speaking events, etc)
  • Prevention (heart screenings)
  • Response (AED donation and CPR training)
