Are you a high schooler looking to boost your resume? Are you passionate about animals or art? Then Paws of Comfort is perfect for you!
First of all, what does it mean to be a chapter founder? It means:
- you founded your own nonprofit without starting from scratch (based off of Paws of Comfort)
- you lead your own team of volunteers & members
What does it mean to be a a part of Paws of Comfort? It means:
- being part of an international organization that helps families heal after the passing of a pet through hand painted pet portraits
- making a difference & brightening the healing process for families
- connecting with pet hospitals, artists, and pet owners in your community
Roles of a chapter founder:
- reach out to pet hospitals, rescue centers, etc. in your community
- Hosting events & recruiting volunteers to paint pet portraits
- fundraising
- Being organized and reporting back to the Board of Directors at Paws of Comfort
