Please join us in brightening the days of our Hospice patients by participating in our letter-writing event. Simple, and easy to do from the comfort of your home, we invite everyone to get involved! For more information please read below.

LETTER-WRITING EVENT:

We are so excited to host our very first "letter-writing event" for our hospice community. Currently, we have about 45 patients on our census and we would love to treat most (if not all!) of them to kind words of comfort. Our sign-up process is very easy and this volunteer effort can take place from your home, but we do have a sign-up process!!

Examples of what we are looking for:

• Letters that have artwork and jokes
• Birthday cards
• letters with updates on current events like sports, books, etc. (no politics or religion please)
• letters containing stories and pictures of pets

We ask that all letters be signed with a first name only. please do not reveal personal information such as phone number or address. please address all letters with "greetings to you".

While we would prefer for volunteers to write the letters in office, we understand that is not something everyone can do so this is a virtual opportunity after we complete the sign up.

**please note all volunteers for this project must have completed background check and sign on process with Aspire**
