We have many volunteer opportunities available for Common Ground's 50th Annual Birmingham Street Art Fair. Opportunities include:
- Booth Monitoring
- We have many artists who participate in this event. They will need someone to watch their booth from time to time.
- Info Booth
- Volunteers will be responsible for handing out information to visitors who attend the fair, answering questions (i.e. where are restrooms, where can I locate "this" artist)
- Barricades
- The event is blocked off by barricades. We will need individuals stationed at each barricade to keep cars from entering the fair area. (This position will require someone present at all times.)
- Water Distribution
- We will hand out water to our artists to quench their thirst throughout the day.
- Managing children's activity tent
- This includes providing coloring sheets and sidewalk chalk as activities to children who attend this event. Coloring sheets and sidewalk chalk are provided.
