Help A Couple Facing ALS Through Meal Prep, Cleaning, or Yard Work (Waverly)
ORGANIZATION: The ALS Association: Iowa
Please visit the new page to apply.
A 70-year-old woman with ALS and her spouse would love a volunteer to help them around the house with meal prep (first priority), cleaning, and/or yard work...please feel free to reach out if you are interested in any of these things! Cooking is something that she's historically enjoyed, but has now become more time-consuming. They would ideally like a volunteer who is able to visit weekly for approximately 2 hours at a time: Monday or Wednesday afternoons work best with their schedule and they do have a dog in their home.
If you enjoy cooking, organizing, or being outdoors, we'd love to hear from you! This opportunity is part of the ALS Association's Family Assistance Program:
