CORA is seeking volunteers to assist with our Child Watch program, which supports parents participating in our new Domestic Violence and Abuse (DVA) support group. As a Child Watch volunteer, you’ll provide engaging and caring supervision for children while their parents attend the support group. This volunteer position begins on Monday, September 16th, and will run every Monday from 6 PM to 7 PM for 10 weeks, concluding on November 4th. During your volunteer shift, CORA’s Child Watch Specialist will be present in the Child Watch room with you, ensuring that you and the children are supported. We appreciate your interest in this important role.

Who We Are

CORA is the only agency in San Mateo County with the sole purpose of serving victims/survivors of domestic violence/abuse. We are a multicultural agency committed to serving victims/survivors, regardless of age, ethnicity/race, financial status, language, sexual orientation, immigration status, class, religion, gender, mental or physical ability.

We provide free and confidential emergency, intervention and prevention services, including the county's only emergency shelter and transitional housing for victims/survivors and services in Spanish and English.
