Dogs On the Go needs your talents in a new key role as we grow our program!

Seeking a person with diverse experience in:

  • digital record keeping
  • software applications
  • search engine optimization
  • social media management
  • web content management
  • information and cyber security
  • database management

You will report to and work directly with our program president. Our ideal candidate will work a minimum of 3-5 hours weekly.

This is a hybrid role, with some in-person collaboration with our president at our new Wonder Lake, IL location.

Mission Statement

To provide affordable hearing assistance dogs to residents of Illinois and Wisconsin who are age 18+ and are deaf or have hearing loss.

Description

We transform human and canine lives by training and placing rescues as hearing assistance dogs for people who are deaf or have hearing loss. Our dogs alert people to many sounds in the home that they have often been missing for years, including: smoke alarm, door knock/bell, cell phone ring, gas stove warning click, baby cry, name call, refrigerator beep, and tornado warning siren. We also offer private coaching for people with a pet that they would like to become their hearing assistance dog.
