We are seeking Virtual Advanced/Honors Calculus 1 Tutors to assist students in mastering complex calculus concepts. This is a fantastic opportunity for high school seniors, college students, or graduates with strong calculus skills to provide support and gain tutoring experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual tutoring in Advanced/Honors Calculus 1, guiding the student through homework, problem-solving, and exam preparation.
- Explain complex calculus concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
- Assist with daily or weekly reviews of class notes and offer study strategies to improve retention and understanding.
- Conduct sessions via Zoom or Google Meet during the student's available hours.
Schedule:
- The students are available for tutoring from September - December on Monday from 12:20-2:00 PM, Wednesday after 1:00 PM, Friday 9:30-11:30 AM, and Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday after 4:00 PM.
- Volunteer 2-5 days per week, with a minimum commitment of 2 hours per day.
Ideal Candidates:
- High school seniors, college students, or graduates with a strong understanding of calculus.
- Experience in tutoring or mentoring is helpful but not required.
- Patience and strong communication skills.
