Agate is looking for a Gardening and Gardening and Facilities Assistant interested in making our buildings feel welcoming and dignified. They would come weekly to help clear debris and clean any soiled floors, walls, or signage on the property. The Assistant is also welcome to plant seeds or put plantings in near the others. Impact:
We try our best to have our mission, vision, and values flow through every part of our work, including the way our buildings look and feel. When new or existing program participants approach the Welcome Center , we want them to see a place that is welcoming and dignified. We want them to walk inside the building and feel the same way. The Gardening and Facilities Assistant helps us do that by keeping the grounds and exteriors of the buildings tidy, removing trash and weeds, cleaning up messes, and wiping off any soiled signage. We hold ourselves to high standards because we believe human beings deserve clean and sanitary facilities -the Gardening and Facilities Assistant helps us achieve that goal through their time and effort.
