Learn To Be is a non-profit bringing free, 1-on-1, online tutoring to underserved students across the United States. We want to live in a world where all kids have access to a great education. We've been around since 2008 and since then, our volunteer tutors have helped students from low-income households and foster organizations excel in subjects ranging from basic math and reading comprehension to chemistry and precalculus.
Learn To Be offers a diverse range of tutoring opportunities, spanning various subjects and grade levels. Our platform caters to the unique needs of students across a spectrum of academic disciplines, including but not limited to:
- mathematics
- science
- language arts
- social studies
Whether you specialize in elementary education, middle school subjects, or high school courses, Learn To Be provides a space for tutors with expertise in a wide array of subjects.

- Background Check
- Must be at least 14
- Anywhere from 30 minutes a week upward. It all depends on what the family you connect with is looking for, as well as the number of students you decide to take.
- Volunteers must be US residents aged 14-30. Your schedule is completely flexible, and tutors typically schedule meetings with students around 1-2x a week.
