The Marin Chapter of Guitars Not Guns needs your help! We provide free guitar lessons and free instruments to at-risk youth in a classroom setting. Our hope is that we provide a safe afterschool activity for these kids and hopefully create a love of music at the same time. In order to make this happen, we need volunteer guitar teachers to get our chapter up and running. Our first classes are going to be starting early October in Terra Linda. Please message us if you're interested.

Mission Statement
We provide guitars and lesson to foster children and at-risk youth in a classroom setting with qualified teachers as an alternative to violence.
Description
We are part of a nation wide non-profit organization founded in the wake of the Columbine shooting. We offer at-risk youth free guitars and find local volunteers to teach them how to play the instrument. The hope is that we not only provide our students a safe after school activity, but also help them discover a love of music.
