Our small school has moved and we need to restart our gardens. Theraputic Horsemanship, located next to the polo grounds in Waimanalo will load aged horse manure onto a truck and our students can offload the manure at our school in Kailua, then wash the truck but there is just one small problem - We have no truck!
We are very flexible about days and times but we do need to be finished by 4:30 on school days. We can do this later, earlier, or on a Saturday if we have a good group of volunteers.
This sounds like a horrible volunteer opportunity but I promise that it's less horrible than you might think! The horse manure is not fresh and it really doesn't stink.

Description
Kosasa Academy is a small alternative Christian school for students who have not been successful in regular school. Art is an important part of our curriculum. Our students tend to be the nice kids who cannot succeed because they learn differently or the quirky kids who mean well but do not fit in with their classmates. We are not a school for students with substance abuse or violent behavior. Extensive training and support are provided to new hires.
Our faculty is wonderful. They are smart, funny, knowledgable, collaborative, sincerely committed to their students and supportive of each other. School decisions are often made by consensus and everyone is heard. When we say we are a team, we really mean it. Join us!
