Our ReStores are more than just a place to find great deals on furniture, appliances, home décor, and building materials. ReStores help local families achieve their dreams of homeownership in partnership with San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity. When you volunteer in our ReStores, you turn merchandise into money that funds our home building mission.
Our Pasadena ReStore is open for volunteers from 10 AM to 6PM Tuesday through Saturday. We can always use help from volunteers who are willing to perform various tasks in a retail enviroment!

Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. Description
Through volunteer labor and tax-deductible donations of money and materials, Habitat builds and rehabilitates simple, decent houses with the help of the homeowner (partner) families. Habitat houses are sold to partner families at no profit and financed with affordable, no-interest loans. The homeowners' monthly mortgage payments go into a revolving Fund for Humanity that is used to build more houses. Habitat is not a give-away program. In addition to a 1% down payment and monthly mortgage payments, each homeowner family invests 500 hours of their own labor -- sweat-equity -- into the building of their house and the houses of others.
