Join a community of volunteers who are passionate about helping neighbors reduce their carbon footprint, their energy and water consumption, and their utility bills. Energy Masters volunteers, after receiving specialized training, deliver hands-on conservation upgrades and community education in affordable-housing communities in Northern Virginia. The next training session begins October 1. Applications are now being accepted through September 20. This program is open to all community members 16+ in the DMV area.

Apply by September 6 for an early-bird discount on the registration fee. All are welcome and encouraged to participate in this program, regardless of financial means. If the registration fee is a barrier to your participation, please contact us. Registration fee not required for student volunteers.

Description
EcoAction Arlington is a unique, local, grassroots environmental education and service organization that has served the Arlington community for decades.
We are a small nonprofit, whose mission is to educate, advocate, and act to create a sustainable community by improving our natural environment, encouraging environmentally-friendly behaviors, ensuring environmental justice, and addressing the climate crisis. We promote a greener community by effectively mobilizing our neighbors and business leaders to address issues such as addressing climate change, reducing habitat destruction, and protecting our natural resources.
Our focus on engaging local citizens in environmental stewardship and creating green lifestyles distinguishes EcoAction Arlington from other environmental education and service organizations.
