We are seeking a Volunteer IT Specialist to administer and manage the organization's Google Workspace environment and to support day-to-day IT needs. This is an exciting opportunity to use your technical skills for a meaningful cause while gaining experience in the nonprofit sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and optimize our Google Workspace, to be used by our community of volunteers.
- Manage and administer all aspects of Google Workspace, including user accounts, groups, organizational units, and permissions.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshoot issues for existing and new IT systems.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify technology needs, suggest improvements, and implement solutions to optimize workflows.
- Assist staff with technical issues and conduct training on new systems or tools.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in IT and Google Workspace.
- Strong skills in systems development, software integration, and network management.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, growing organization.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and fix IT issues promptly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks

Our service delivery model is executed through three programs:
- CWI: College Women Initiative (1st Generation College Women, ages 17-22)
- GEZ: Girls Empowerment Zone (ages 7-17)
- WEW: Women’s Empowerment Work (ageless)
We are seeking enthusiastic and passionate volunteers to join our team and help us make a meaningful impact. Volunteers will have the opportunity to contribute to various aspects of the organization based on their skills and interests, and to be part of a supportive, dynamic community.
