Like no other high school academic competition in Colorado, the Dinosaur Ridge Science Quiz Bowl tests knowledge in the areas of geology, paleontology, and other scientific fields. Following the competition, a 30-minute TV program will air on Rocky Mountain PBS stations and the network's on-demand streaming service.
We are looking for volunteers to help with:
Setup ( 6:15-8:45am) - 4 volunteers Welcome/Registration Table (7:45-8:15am) - 4 volunteers Volunteer Check-in (7:15-11:30am) - 1 volunteer Volunteer Check-in (11:30am-1:30pm) - 1 volunteer Hospitality (11:30am-2:30pm) - 2 volunteers Tear Down (2:00-3:30pm) - 3 volunteers Time Keepers (7:15am - 2:30pm*)--end times vary based on which rounds you are helping with. --6 volunteers.Day-of training, as well as prior review of timekeeping procedures, are required for timekeepers-this is an important job but also exciting to be a part of the action!

The mission of Dinosaur Ridge is to preserve the paleontologic, geologic, and historic resources on Dinosaur Ridge, Triceratops Trail, and outlier sites in the Golden-Morrison Fossil Area National Natural Landmark and to educate the public about these resources.
Description
Dinosaur Ridge is a non-profit outdoor museum with over 300 dinosaur footprints and dozens of dinosaur bones still in place from the Mesozoic, the Age of the Dinosaurs. Dinosaur Ridge programs are run by volunteers like you! Whether you are looking for a long term opportunity or short term, Dinosaur Ridge has volunteer opportunities for everyone!
