ServiceSource is asking for your help! Are you passionate about music and its impact on emotional well-being? Join us as a Social Emotional Wellness Music Facilitator! In this role, you'll use the power of music to enhance social and emotional wellness through engaging and therapeutic activities. Please be comfortable and ready to work with older adults and including those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
1. Greeting participants 2. Having residents sign in 3. Serving snacks and drinks 4. Interacting with residents 5. Setting up/breaking down events 6. Distributing and assisting with surveys
Facilitate Emotional Expression: Guide participants in using music to explore and express their emotions, whether through playing instruments, singing, or listening to various genres.
Promote Social Connection: Use music to create a sense of community and connection among participants, encouraging teamwork and positive interactions.
Support Emotional Well-Being: Offer a supportive environment where participants feel comfortable sharing their experiences and feelings through music.
