About the event
Help us host a FREE community event celebrating culture, art, and conservation at the Bicycle Arts & Culture event! This family-friendly gathering, held in honor of Latino Conservation Week, is perfect for children and their families to enjoy the outdoors together. We have lots of stations and roles for you to choose from!
What will volunteers do?As a volunteer, you'll create a welcoming and friendly environment for our guests.
You'll check in their bikes, then carefully park and watch over them.
You'll also help us with the set-up and tear-down of our tent, tables, and valet fence.
The best part is the fun we have engaging the community!
You'll be answering questions, listening to ideas, and promoting upcoming biking events, advocacy efforts, and local biking resources.
What will volunteers need to bring or wear?Hopefully, you'll roll to the event on a bike, board or scoot yourself, so bring your smile and comfy clothes.
If you've volunteered with us already, and have a San Diego County Bicycle Coalition t-shirt, please wear that.
Make sure you have plenty of water!

The San Diego County Bicycle Coalition advocates for and protects the rights of all people who ride bicycles. We promote bicycling as a mainstream, safe and enjoyable form of transportation and recreation.
We work for better bicycling access and infrastructure, provide education programs fro youth and adults who want to ride and encourage public officials, regional partners and advocates in joining us in making San Diego County THE most bike-friendly region in the nation.
