Boo at the Zoo 2024

On behalf of the Philadelphia Zoo, we’d like to invite you to volunteer at our annual Halloween event "Boo at the Zoo," where guests enjoy trick or treating in the Zoo. Approximately 40 volunteers per shift are needed to help with candy distribution and Halloween-themed crafts and games. We can accommodate groups of up to 30 volunteers. All volunteers receive free parking and admission for the day, and a ticket to return to the zoo as a guest on another date.
Volunteer stations will be placed in outdoor areas only, and all volunteers are welcome to wear face masks during their shift. Hand sanitizer and other preventative measures will be available at all stations.
The following shifts are open for volunteers to register:
Saturday, October 12 : 7:45am-12:30pm,
Sunday, October 13 : 7:45am-12:30pm, 12:00pm-5:15pm
Sunday, October 20 : 8:45am-12:30pm, 12:00pm-5:15pm
Saturday, October 26 : 7:45am-12:30pm, 12:00pm-5:15pm
Sunday, October 27 : 8:45am-12:30pm,

Description
The Philadelphia Zoo is America's first zoo and one of the region's foremost conservation organizations. The 42-acre Victorian garden is home to more than 1,600 animals, including highly endangered Amur tigers and rare sifaka lemurs. The Zoo promotes conservation efforts to protect endangered species around the world.
