The Multi-Service Eating Disorders Association (MEDA) is seeking board members for its next term.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about MEDA’s mission and purpose, is willing to commit time, effort and resources to these goals. Candidates must be passionate for MEDA's cause and possess qualities of dedication, integrity, honesty, and collegiality in stewarding the organization towards a common goal. Prior board experience is helpful but is not a requirement.
MEDA is seeking candidates with proficiency in the following areas: Accounting - Finance; andNon-Profit
Fundraising - Both Individual and Corporate Giving
Members of the MEDA Board serve a three-year term, which may be renewed for successive terms. Members are required to serve on at least one committee of the Board. Board meetings are generally held once a month, and committees meet at minimum quarterly. Minimum time commitment varies from 1-3 hours per week. Board Members are unpaid. MEDA's Board strives for 100% Board giving.

We are the foremost eating disorders nonprofit organization in New England. We provide education about eating disorders and their underlying causes to develop a compassionate community that promotes hopefulness and supports healing. We offer a variety of services to support individuals and loved ones through the various stages of their journey.
